Now maybe mine is a separate issue altogether, but I have noticed it with other Unreal Engine games as well. The thing is, I get it with my mouse and keyboard. I wish all games had a dead zone setting like Dead Island does, but I guess that's a pretty esoteric feature and isn't one that many devs prioritize. But some devs don't account for that, and Unreal games are by far the worst about it. It's an easy problem to solve on the game side, if the developer just makes the dead zone large enough that you have to move the stick past the edge of the dead zone before the game will pick up the input. Many (most?) controllers have sticks that aren't fitted tightly into their wells, so they sometimes don't sit at a neutral position and thus are constantly sending a bit of input to the system even when you aren't touching them.

It's both a controller and software problem, but the main fault lies with the way the 360 analog sticks are designed. I also get that weird control issue on PC. He was referring to the Xbox version, so yes.

I think it must be an issue with the PC driver, unless you're getting it on Xbox too. I think they made him a little too boring but you can feel like a total badass when you're going into stealth, throwing grenades out and tricking the enemies which is pretty much impossible to do as the enemies are like lasers once you engage in a said: Even at lower levels I could just send out Deathtrap to lay waste where I'd have to duck and cover with Zer0 but he is also a very interesting character. I'm now playing as Gaige (also played as Zer0 up until level 30) and she is a lot of fun. I don't ever play as Snipers but rolling with Bloodwing makes the experience really enjoyable. I played as Mordecai in the first game and it was a blast. With something like Borderlands I feel like you need to step out of your comfort zone. The ammo and health is plentiful in this game and he can simply buy more ammo if money is such a waste in this game. I don't even know why Jeff wants to spec with regenerating bullets and health. He stuck with what was familiar to the first game and Roland is by far the most generic. I probably would have enjoyed Borderlands 1, as in enjoyed AT ALL, if I chose someone else than Roland. Which is fine, but I'm having a lot of fun playing as a Mechromancer, since the game encourages me to go batshit in every firefight and not care about spending lead. It's basically an amped-up, more refined Borderlands 1.Īlthough a lot of that boredom in Jeff's case stems from the fact that he plays Borderlands 2 in the most boring way possible out of pragmatism - he took a Roland-like class and made him into Roland 2.0. Brad and Jeff both seem pretty bored during this QL.īecause Borderlands 2 is not a particularly new game.
